Featuring 2 RED ones, 2 RED Epics and over 60 state of the art, DSLR cameras, Triple Horse was able to take Bridgestone’s highly visual and aggressive concept and turn it into a reality. Creating, implementing and perfecting the “camera array” or “time slice” effect, Triple Horse was able to capture each pro’s golf swing at high speeds and with stills while moving around the golfer.
To achieve this “camera array” or "time slice" effect, all of the cameras in the system are triggered simultaneously. This results in a number of images of the subject from a number of different points of view - all taken at the exact same moment in time. These individual images are then transferred sequentially in digital format into a computer and stabilized to make a smooth motion picture of a moment frozen in time.
